My name is Rosie Corlett, I am singing teacher based in Somerset.

I grew up in the south of France and spent my teenage years training in classical singing with acclaimed French opera singer Anne Faget. During this time I also studied Music Theory and piano.

At 18 I moved to England to pursue my passion for music. Once in the UK I studied a BA(hons) in Music, Dance and Drama with a singing specialism at Southampton University before moving to London. I spent two years working as a singer and vocal coach in Wimbledon then decided to move down to Devon to record an album. I worked as a private vocal coach and singer for a couple of years in Plymouth and have recently extended my business to Bath.
I am now taking bookings from November 2009 in Glastonbury. These will be held at Glastonbury Music Shop. I'm also beginning a Masters Degree in Songwriting next year.

My students range from total beginners who want to learn to sing, clients who are preparing for auditions, customers who are already professionals and want to improve on the skills they have, to people who feel they have rarely been given a voice and want to find theirs and use singing as a tool for an improved sense of self. My lessons cover and encourage all styles of music and singing with the emphasis being on singing songs that you love, marrying technique with personal delivery and musical interpretation.

My lessons are £15/30 mins and £25/1 hour
