Free elm trees suit wood turner or furniture maker
Are there any wood turners or furniture makers wanting some elm wood? Quite a lot of Elm wood!
The couincil have told me I must fell some dead elm trees alongside a road. not sure the number but guessing there may be aboiut a dozen. I am told they are between 6 and 12 metres high.
A wood turner yesterday he tells me that elms are hard to obtain now and the wood is worth money! He would have loved them but there is a little problem - he and I are in the Highlands! They coiuld be used as firewood by the person in the cottage but that seems a waste if someone can actually use them and would like the wood.
So Free but here's the deal - if you would like them you can have them for nothing but would need to arrange to take them down and collect them yoiurself.
