We are looking for a candidate with experience in IT support to take on this temporary role for approximately 1 month (possibly longer). A varied and challenging temporary role, the successful applicant will offer experience of Microsoft Windows networking products and email systems as well as experience in virus prevention, firewalls &securing systems. If you have the ability to work on own initiative, work to high standards and are able to work under pressure this could be the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities to include:
* To administer the Windows 2003 Active Directory, including the maintenance of network accounts and network resources
*To administer the Windows network: operating system install, disk space management, backups, security, daily health checks and other tasks as appropriate
*To maintain the anti-virus prevention mechanisms used to protect servers, PCs and portable devices
* To implement and document changes to the network infrastructure, including the deployment and management of servers and server based applications, routers and switches
* To maintain and monitor the effectiveness of network backup systems
* Carry out regular maintenance and upgrade of IT equipment
* Carry out the installation, deployment or redeployment of IT Equipment

Own transport is advantageous.
