An experienced Special Needs Nanny is required for a family relocating to the Cotswolds to provide care for their son aged 7 (who has Downs Syndrome)
and his 10 year old sister.

Ideally you should have previous experience of working with a child with Downs Syndrome and be familiar with Hemiplegia (balancing skills affected), Childhood Autism (mild) and have Makaton Training. The family require a patient and positive candidate who is able to help and support their son through the day to day challenges that his conditions require. It is also important that you are able to use your own initiative and be willing to assist with family life. The parents are keen that the Nanny can be adaptable to both their children’s needs, although your role will generally not require you to look after both children on your own.

This is a Live-in placement with the family offering use of a car during work and private gym membership.

Mon - Friday 7-10am and then 3-8pm + some weekends with days off during the week.
Salary - approx £300 (net) per week Start Date - ASAP
