Sql Developer
Based in the heart of Bath, my client is looking to recruit a SQL Developer. Duties will include:
-Developing software and making changes to software and systems
-Resolving 3rd line support calls and escalating where unable to resolve
-Assisting 1st and 2nd line support teams for all Business Systems related activities
-Liaising regularly with end users and BH staff throughout a development or task lifecycle.
-Assisting with analysis, requirements capture, testing and rollout activities including end user training.
-Aid in the development of new development procedures and practices
Key Skills include:
-Ideally 3+ years real experience of SQL 2000 and SQL 2005
-Experienced in T-SQL, be able to manipulate tables, write stored procedures, indexing, query performance tuning
-Experienced in SQL 2005 SSIS and SSRS.
oExperience of data transformation using SQL 2005 integration service.
oExperience of creating reporting service reports using SQL 2005 Reporting Service.
-Database backup, restore and maintenance tasks
-TFS experience
-1+ year experience of ASP.Net Development utilising C# or VB.NET
-Familiarity with HTML, CSS, XML
