Yamaha Power Assist Electric Bicycle (£300)
The Yamaha PAS bicycle combines power from the legs of the rider & auxiliary power assisted by a motor. This system uses the advantages of riding a bicycle while being easy on the rider & the environment. It makes cycling easier by adding power to that of pedalling. You will need only approximately half the power required to pedal an ordinary bicycle. Cycling becomes a light & smooth experience, just as if you were being gently pushed forward by an invisible hand. This cheats bike makes uphill slopes a pleasure, & any bike ride on it can be accomplished at a spanking pace with minimum effort, while the rider none-the-less exercises & keeps supple.
3 electric riding modes (up to 15kmph):
1. Unassisted - normal bicycle
2. Standard mode - (motor doubles your input on every stroke)
3. Economy mode - (50% MORE mileage than standard, less assist)
The bike has been well looked after and has front and rear lights and the battery charger.
