Friendly responsible 20 year old Romanian girl looking for live-in au pair position
Avoid the headache of having to wade through lots of unsuitable people who have responded to your needs.. We had over 700 applicants to our latest crop of vacancies and filtered these ourselves to less than 30.
We travel overseas from our UK office to meet and interview each candidate ourselves. We offer a very professional service and can give knowledgeable and informed opinions about each person's suitability - When you speak with us you will be dealing with the same person who interviewed each candidate.
We have a lot of good candidates. Carmen is one of the many girls we have available now and is keen to start to come to the UK as soon as possible..Please excuse the slight noise on the video - the microphone battery was low at this point.
Carmen's Profile...............
Carmen is a 20 year-old Romanian girl from the village of Girisu de Cris in NW Romania. She has been studying banking and finance at university but wishes to take one or two gap years to come to England and improve her English and earn money to fund her education.
She wants to come to the UK for at least one year, which could be extended if all is working well. She has no preference for location; except she would not want to live in a rural location.
Carmen likes watching sport, listening to music, dancing, to read, cooking and computer/email/web. She enjoys aerobics, cycling, volley-ball, football and tennis.
She is a non-smoker.
Childcare Experience: Carmen has a 10 year old brother so is often looking after him. Her Mother works shifts and so during the school holidays as the eldest of the three she is usually left in charge of her younger brother and sister. She often makes breakfast and simple meals at lunchtime for them. With her brother she plays with him by taking him outside or playing with his toy cars inside. She feels that she is attentive to children as it is important she is aware of what the children are getting up to.
English Skills: Her English was fair - studying it for 8 years. She was able to understand almost everything I asked but she needed help with translating some words.
Housework: Carmen is prepared to care for babies, children, older children, children with disabilities, light housework, laundry & ironing, shopping (Food, Groceries), cooking for children, gardening, caring for pets and cooking for the family.
Character: Carmen considers that she is funny and she likes to play and have good fun. People would say that she is a good person. Sincere, disciplined, responsible, she has a positive attitude on those around her and she is active.
She loves people around her. If she has one fault it would be that sometimes she makes a different choice to what her Mother wants her to do. An example here would be that Carmen attended a different university course than her Mother thought she should do.
Driving: Carmen has not passed her driving test.
Family: Carmen lives at home with her Mother who is a cashier, and her Father who works in agriculture but is currently unemployed. Hence the pressure on funding university. She has a 10 year old brother and a 15 year old sister. They have a small dog.
