Sous chef, Castle Combe
Busy 12th Century Cotswold Inn requires a Sous Chef
We are currently seeking a Sous chef to join our brigade. Working with the head chef to deliver food of exceptional quality.
Applicants must be passionate about food, creative, energetic, hard working and trustworthy. It is imperative that they are able to follow instructions, stay calm under pressure and act swiftly to rectify a situation.
The successful candidate will be responsible:
• Daily running of the Kitchen
• Ensuring all food is prepared and served to a high quality
• Maintaining health and safety and hygiene standards are met
• Assisting the head chef with menu design and development
• Ordering and stocktaking
You would be working in the kitchen alongside the Head Chef. Working approx 45 hours per week 5/7 days to include weekends. Shift patterns are usually split shifts. 4 weeks holiday a year pro rata.
Salary approx £18k depending on experience
